Review: Sony Vaio FW5

This is the review of the Sony Vaio FW55x. Its a great laptop for anyone wanting a budget laptop but also has many top of the range features.  It features a 16.4 inch screen but also it very portable and light.

The specification that I went for are below:

  • Intel core 2 duo t9600
  • 4gb ram
  • 500 gb 5200rpm hard drive
  • ATI Radeon 4750 512MB Graphics Card
  • Windows 7 Professional

Its a mid range mid range laptop with stock specification but can be upgraded via the Sony online store. Its a great laptop with fast performance and is perfect for anyone wanting a new fast laptop. It has a great, bright and vivid screen and also a large enough hard dive to store all your photos, music and video.

The positives are below

  • Large, Bright and Vivid Screen
  • Good speakers with Dolby Digital
  • Fast performance with processor intensive applications
  • However some of the negatives are listed below
  • Poor battery life with a full charge lasting around 4 hours.
Overall it is a great laptop and is suitable for anyone looking for a fair priced laptop With a good specification. Have any questions? Post below and I will try to answer.
