Samsung’s countdown site hit 0 a while ago but what exactly did it reveal, if anything? Read on to find out.
Yesterday we reported on the website http://www.tgeltaayehxnx.com/ (which at time of writing loads but nothing happens when you click on the buttons) having a countdown which would finish today at mid-day. The countdown hit 0 a while ago and Samsung fans worldwide rushed to the website to see what would be revealed but they were met with a site that didn’t load.
Luckily, however, Samsung Mobile released the Teaser videos on their official YouTube channel and we’ve embedded the videos for you to watch below:
There’s really not much to see in the first video, but the second one sparked some some controversy across the internet. Some users would argue, that Samsung is taking shots at Apple in the video, calling iPhone users sheep.
Judging from some of the YouTube video comments and people’s tweets, some people say they are now less tempted to purchase the handset and may even boycott Samsung in general.

Does anybody actually like this wooly Samsung campaign? I have a Sammy phone in my pocket and even I find it a little distasteful.

Overall, Samsung’s done a great job of generating PR Buzz for its May 3rd event and we can’t wait to see just what Sammy has to show. Please check back with us after the event for our thoughts.
Companies do “bash” each other in advertising campaigns from time to time but has Samsung gone too far? Were you disappointed with the lack of real information from the teasers? Let us know in the comment section below.
