The new 3G Sony Xperia Miro is an exciting and stylish addition to Vodafone’s Android range and it’s designed with social networking in mind. The handset has full Facebook integration throughout the contacts and gallery allowing you to take photos with the 5 MP rear camera as well as VGA 30 fps videos and share them instantly with your friends no matter where you are.

This handset is available from Vodafone UK on Pay as You Go for just £130, what a bargain! It comes with a 3.5 inch VGA (320 x 480) resolution display, that’s 165 ppi, far inferior to a retina display but baring in mind the price, it’s fairly sufficient for viewing pictures, video and browsing the web. Plus, the built-in front facing VGA camera is great for video calls, and taking quick portraits to share with others. The dimensions are as follows 133 x 59.4 x 9.9 mm and it only weighs 110 grams. It comes with 4 GB of Internal storage and a 1500 mAH battery.

Obviously Sony are very known for their music department and with this handset, they’re introducing xLOUD audio technology which gives you crisp and clear audio even at loud volumes, thus making this a great portable music player. In addition there are millions of songs available on demand from Music Unlimited, and with the micro SD slot up to 32GB, you’ll have plenty of space for all your tracks and other media.

Software wise, it’s sporting Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which is great to see on a budget handset!
